Revelation's Warning

One of the things that struck me as I wrote the book was the large number of warnings about taking the number of the Beast. The consequences of that decision are also spelled out.

I'm concerned that the churches, many of whom don't study prophecy, have missed this warning. Of course some people and leaders will deny that it is the mark and therefore take the mark. I expect that many will try to rationalize taking it.

"God knows my heart. He knows that I love him. So it's OK"

"God wouldn't want me to suffer because I couldn't have a job or buy food"

"My children need food. What am I supposed to do?"

"I'm only doing it so I can help those who don't take it and will struggle to survive"

What Revelation makes clear is that you will not be forgiven if you take the mark.

Therefore God has described what it will be like during the time the mark is given, so those who watch will know. This book breaks that out in as much detail as possible at this time. The rest will only be recognizable at that time.

It will not be possible to take the mark by mistake. Some have said that the mark is already here, in credit cards and barcodes. That's wrong. Taking the mark will require a conscious decision that violates faith in God.

I expect it will involve signing a document containing a pledge and likely taking the pledge verbally. The pledge could be something like the Shahada, the Muslim profession of faith, "there is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah"
